Panic attack was not always a bad thing

I was arranging my blog while looking for inspirations, then I browsed through Sakimi's Tumblr and I was like oh F** how many pieces of artwork had been done by her since I last visit here!? Seriously reflecting back at myself for I had done so little improvement on my skills.

So this sudden dumb struck isn't bad at all, now that I am punishing myself to be up-to-date at all my sites, and all my slackness for the past 3 month had all been burned up as my motivation fires!

Be forewarned that there will be more post coming and I will be more active on self reflection from now on. :)

Playing with DSLR

I got myself a DSLR D550 for a mere "assignment purpose" 2 years ago without really planning ahead what to do with it other than shooting references and pictures for my collage assignments. But then i gradually starts to love photography and I developed a new hobby after I understand how different shooting can create different emotion to the picture taken. I guess people are right when they say, you will learn something when you have no way of turning back.   

So I took my camera around during gatherings and celebrations to try to capture beautiful images and improve my skills. It was fun when the picture taken turns out to be good and I get compliments from people who had seen it. These picture was taken from a shop in Malacca famous Jonker street called  三叔公. The shop sell a lot of famous Malacca's traditional food but i yet to try any of them, I just know they were famous in that street. Their decoration however are very nice and very old style, so customers can enjoy their food and scenery at the same time.

 I slowly spread my target from scenery > foods > animal > to human. I learned something every time I shoot. So now even if i post something on my Instargram, I will rearrange it surroundings and the model to get the best result out of it ^^. Photography became an art that I love and I would gladly continue to have fun with it. 

These beautiful lantern was taken during Mid-Autumn Festival and I took the chance to play with perspective. I took me quite a few number of attempts before i could actually get a handful of nice pictures. Now I had realize how I had not appreciate pictures from skillful photographer had produced. 

Carrying a DSLR all the time with me is tedious and I had regretted many time that i could not capture some moments just because I do not have a camera in hand. So I actually go to the extend of investing a Samsung S4 for the purpose of taking pictures and for the reason of convenience. Thanks to it, I can capture more and more picture wherever i go without the need to worry about being caught by the security or being obvious that I am shooting at something. 

Although a smart phone saved my problem, at the end of the story, it still can not match with the overall functions a DSLR could produce. Well, if i could be a professional photography one day, I would surely invest more on my DSLR. For the time being, I will just use what i could to learn, because a tool will always be a tool, it is the skills and foundations that matters. 

My Camera Shy dog

Hello there, lets meet my cute little angel called Devil.Ya~ that's her name and we pronounce it as "The-Vil". *Please beware and be careful when u name your dog, she is quite devilish to some point just like her name.* She is eight years old this year already but she is still as adorable as we first bought her from the pet shop. My brother choose her because of her watery eyes that keep on sending "please keep poor little me" signal. Well I would say, buying a dog u need to have a six sense on it and do not blindly choose one just because of u want a puppy. It takes years of caring and teaching in order to have a good dog to live with.

I preferred a female dog I would say because they are easier to teach and there are not as rebellious as a male dog. ( that is strictly my opinion because i tried to teach 2 of her sons together at the same time and it was a nightmare to me). The first year training her was a bit difficult as we have to adapt to how she understand our instructions. When we teach her something new, we teach her strictly so that she know we are not playing with her. When she succeed in doing what was told, a compliment by patting her head was enough to make her happy. All the hard work paid off  thanks to my brother and then the rest of the story was living everyday with her lovingly. 

She was a playful little puppy who used to love going for a ride in my brother's car as she travel back and fort from my brother collage to our house, but now she just wondering around our house and anticipating for a walk each day. It is hard to say no to her because of her cuteness :) Thank goodness she is so obedient that i do not need to chain her up during the walk, and she will just follow u around enjoying the freedom on her cute short legs~ (she is a mix of Corgi and Chiwawa). She hates all other female dog i would say, because she will always have a fight with one of them whenever she sees one. @@ 

!!CAUTION!! And here is the beware part if u want to play with my dog. !!CAUTION!!

1. before your get near my dog, do remember to be clean. Don't expect my dog to tolerant your body odor when not even I can stand with it. A dog relays a lot on smell.

2. When you meet a dog for the first time, do remember to let it smell your hand and get its approval before you pat a dog. This applied to every dog from medium size to big size (i haven't met a fierce small size dog before). Do not directly play with it as if you owned it. Unless you wanted your hand to be bitten off, and if that is the case, do not try to blame the owner for not stopping the dog. Even a normal human will go for self defends when they were suddenly harassed. If the dog show a sign of dislike, like growling at you, back and stay away. They don't like you. 

3. And lastly, do not feed a dog owned by others. This is to show respect to the owners, this also serve as a sign to the dog, so that the dog know it can only get treatment from its owner, none others. 

I do agree with "dog are man's best friend". You can not find any other living creature that is so loyal and careless about itself by loving you whole heartily. Some say looking straight on to a dog eye means seeking a rival challenge, but i find it helps getting both of us closer~ So treat them well as a dog will surely will and ban dog cuisine ~ 

PS: If you own a dog, do remember to clean it once a week (applied due to Malaysia's weather). They will starts to smell because they love the mud and anywhere else that you yell at them for later. At least, make them toilet trained, so that they do not poop and pee all around the house which will result in creating irresistible smells travel through the neighbor's house. Keep the house hygiene in a good condition, this is because it will kill the neighbor. I had once met people who do not take good care of their dog's hygiene and i have to limit my breathing throughout the process of hanging cloths. I got the effect of dizziness for 2 hours due lack of oxygen.

I love Sake

I love sake

 Trying new things will always be my first choice when i enter a new place or restaurant, it had been my habit to take the odds and let it be an experience or a lesson at the end of the story. Since last year, i had my first time trying absolute Mandarin vodka, the taste lingers in my mind until today~ I started to have a keen interest in trying new alcohol drinks other than Carlsberg or Heineken thing-ish.

   Few weeks before, i got a chance to try Japanese sake on my boyfriend father's birthday. The taste was very nice, but i was too shy to ask for more because the price was quite expensive for a student to handle. :) So i looked at the shelf and silently aim to try all those flavor one by one after I am officially a working adult who have some extra expenses to spend~

 * Maybe sitting alone in a quite meal and enjoy the sake like an old man~*

It is a nice experience trying new things cause i believe, if you never try you never know. Of cause, the things that i tried are all proven to be eatable or under well protection to a certain extend~ So, people that I am very close to and trustworthy, do bring me to explore more and i will be waiting XD

PS: I jsut like to try, I am not a alcoholic drinker~  *don't judge me with one of those kind*

Back on tracks

   I had been wondering on and off this blog, cruelly leaving it aside according to my mood, and from time to time posting here out of the blues. All due to my bad habit of leaving things aside if they do not sparks my interest, (my bad, my bad..) and I did not found what is the purpose of me trying hard to write a post. 

   Slowly as time past i kinda found the needs to post something here :), thanks to people that i followed, the abundance applications out there that made both my hand and heart itch, and my future plans, i finally got the grab to combine all of it to produce more post from here on. 

   New explores is the key to my interest, today i tear down my blog and did a completely new renovation to it to make it more organize and easier to view. I am very happy about it even though i had spent hours and hours of my time to learn how to make it nice due to my lack of understanding in blogger's interface and the fear of "HTML".  But it was worth it and I am motivated to post more :)

Inspirational TED talk

why 30 is not the new 20

This is really something we had to think about as we are now in our 20s deciding where are we heading while we have the time and freedom to choose what we might ended up for our years later.

After watching this, it makes me feel that i really need to cut the slacks and start making responsible decision without relying on surrounding changes.

early morning mood

I have not been in a good mood these day maybe because i am in lack of sleep and i did not confront people that annoyed me. then today i waked up before 5 a.m to get my blog assignment done, as i don't really know how to use blogspot, i had a hard time deleting people from my watch list which is very frustrating!

Jackie

I was randomly watching Youtube last night, and i accidentally came by this video clip, at first i just thought that this clip was about how to make prank on other people, but as it play through, the victim's responses really surprised me. 

Apart from her dedication towards work, she also have a kind heart that made a person's day brighter~ she even go through the trouble to find out the real order of Olympic symbol's colors and does not charge him a sen. Wow~  Her kind smile in return really just turns everything around.

I felt like i got to post this blog to people because i just wanted to share Jackie :)

She really did make me feels that there are still many kind people around that will help u without the needs of return, (though rather a small scale) and people like this deserve a better live~ 

After seeing this video, i really think that i should ignore those selfish people and concentrate my life on those who stay positive for whatever reason behind their shoulder. Be kind to all people i should say, cause we never know when we will meet someone like Jackie :)

seeing new things

 hmm~ Chinese New Year is just around the corner, and i felt sad because everyone else is going back to prepare for the new year while we stuck here doing our assignments.

But no matter how me and my friends still find time to go find food to eat! *god...how i hope cyberjaya will have more food selections*

today i found a few scene around cyberjaya to be very beautiful, too bad i did not bring along my camera to snap it~~*maybe i should carry it around all the time @@*

A damn bored day~

I was supposed to get some assignment done on Saturday, but end up i have no mood for none of it >.<  so i run back my sketch book and decided to finish off what i had "learned" in my Malaysian study class.
